Quebec City and the Ice Hotel: March, 2007
This quick two-night vacation marked my first time visiting the walled and cobbled streets of Quebec City’s Old Town and includes a brush with Red Bull’s Crashed Ice and a remarkable overnight stay inside one of the world’s only ice hotels.
Louisiana: January, 2019
Settling in for a relatively calm two-week stay in the Crescent City, m’lady and I augmented our usual sights and stops with our first NFL game (Go Saints Go!) and our first trip together outside of the city, when we rented a Jeep and hit the road for Lafayette and environs. All in all it was another spectacular trip to one of the greatest places America has to offer.
